This stamp is just another little emergency "fill-in" that we planted while waiting for our travelin' van to stop steaming as it overheated on our way home from NH on one of the very rare trips that we Rhode Islanders have been able to make during the year of the 2020 pandemic. We were so glad that at least NH was the only other nearby state not restricting us from visiting during that time. However, driving straight through MA non-stop, as was the requirement, must have been too much for the 2010 Sienna that we had bought just last year (as an update for the older one that we had so loved traveling in for the past half dozen years) because it stalled and started steaming just as we pulled into the "park and ride" by the CT/RI border, right near where we had recently transplanted our old original retired hitchhiker hostel. While waiting for the car to stop steaming and debating over whether to call AAA or not, I simply pulled out my old broken carving tool and carved another travelin' light stone with this little message on back as a reminder for all letterboxers to try to plant in the suggested ratio of at least one plant for every hundred finds, so that everyone can do their part in keeping this hobby going (more about that under our clue for "P1:F100 in RI", which goes along with another HHH we recently took out of retirement and transplanted just back over the border in RI!;-) Anyway, this one we left sitting like a bolt in the guardrail end curl nearest the "park and ride" east exit, so don't forget to check on it if you come to swap hitchers at the hostel, and please remember to keep on planting letterboxes as well as finding them, too, as most letterboxers so wonderfully do!
