When moonstone had asked us a while back to plant this little stamp of hers somewhere out of RI to where it hadn’t yet been, we didn't yet know that we would soon be finding over 400 love-themed boxes in a "Spreading Hearts, Not COVID" escapade that would briefly take us around much of New England again, even up into Maine when that state was finally reopened to us Rhode Islanders in late March of 2021! Little Ponds Preserve off Bethel Point Road off Cundy's Harbor Road seemed like the perfect place to leave this stamp then, since we were already going out that way for a SHNC heart drive-by box, and we figured what was the point of going all that way out there just for a drive-by when we could have ourselves a nice little stroll at the same time, too!

So, once you get to the little preserve with its 1/4 mile loop trail starting from the small parking lot on the right just past the junction with Little Ponds Road, take the right prong of the loop counterclockwise until you see a long mossy "leg" reaching out to you along the trail from a tree straight ahead. Simply note where that leg curves and walk 10 steps in that direction to check the middle of a 4-trunk tree!
