1183. One More Hudson Horse! - driveby carver sewsewbizzy

We had planned to plant this horse somewhere down along the shore in Delaware, but didn't get there at all last year. So, when we saw a nice little bunch of horses along the Hudson in Staatsburg, NY, we figured this one carved by sewsewbizzy would probably like to join them somewhere nearby.

To find the spot where we left this creature, just go to the parking lot that is to the south of where the other Hudson horses are on the opposite side of the road to the north. From the northwest side of the grassy parking area facing the river you should be able to see a large 5-6' foundation wall a few feet away. Take three steps under the maples towards that wall and you should now be able to see a low cement block wall, two blocks tall and 5-6 blocks long, just in front of you parallel to the parking area. Hope looking under the protruding 2' squared-off side of the chunk of cement that is just to the right of that low cement block wall will give you something extra to celebrate tucked there in a silver pouch under a small flat stone!
