1184. Little Bird on Pixie Trail = stroll
Kingston, RI
Placed May 2021
We had thought that this little bird might have flown away from its former hiding place by the tree with the partial door in it in Kinney Azalea Gardens on route 108 not far from URI in Kingston, RI. But no, the door had just been moved to a different tree and the bird was still there!
However, we decided we might as well help it along to fly to a new hiding spot just a bit south while we were there to see the beautiful azalea gardens anyway. So, now to see where the little bird is hiding on the back side of its tiny stone, just take the Pixie Trail that starts by the huge bleeding hearts. Pass a couple of colorful gnomes on the right and a scraggly bunch of rhododendron on the left. Then, just to the left of the rock with a bit of moss on it that is in from of the large tree with the pixie riding a pig in the back of it, carefully move the next smaller stone to find the tiny bird “travelin’ light” stone below. Please replace exactly as found and enjoy exploring these lovely gardens!
