1242. Another Eastern Mediterranean Cruise: Cyprus (Limassol)

About halfway along the seaside promenade between Old Port and New Town Limassol is a display of huge multicolored speckled eggs called "Birth". From that particular sculpture installation, well loved by children, head southerly towards Old Town to another sculpture that looks sort of like two conjoined Olympic rings with some waves below. Take the first boardwalk NW of this sculpture to a clump of palms and cedars. Sit on the first weather pitted boulder to the right and reach into the base of the nearest bush to the left. There under a 2-inch white stone is where we left a 1-inch gray teardrop stone with "Cypress" glued onto its back!
