1247. Valentine's Day Snow Critter "Chuckles"
February 2025 (Limited Time - rapidly melting!)
One of our neighbors just recently sent us an email saying what a
chuckle she got driving down Driftwood the other day and seeing a very
strange-looking 3-foot tall snow creature sitting propped up on a round
cement cylinder along the road. She wondered what it was, so I told her
I thought it was supposed to be a snowman, but then ended up looking
more like a chicken, then a bear, a prairie dog, and maybe even possibly
a woodchuck, until it melted quite a bit over the past couple of days
and now just looks like a scrawny chicken again. In any case, we ended
up sticking an old gray stone (with a red heart stamp once used for a RI
semi-mystery box stuck on its backside) into the heartspace between what
had been its paws, so, as long as the critter doesn't melt away
completely, that stamp might still be hanging in there for the next
couple of days if anyone wants to use their imagination to guess what
that snow creature might once have been and maybe get a chuckle or two
out of it! Happy Valentines!
