409a. Among the Azaleas continues into the 20's!
When we checked on this old plant of ours in the spring of 2020, we didn't find it because we thought we had planted it under the right side of the Troll Bridge at the lovely azalea gardens just south of the junction of 138 and 108 in Kingston, RI. Poison ivy was now growing under the left side of the bridge and frankly we didn't expect the box to still be there after so many years anyway, so we just did a quick cursory search and planted another stamp elsewhere in the gardens.
Well, turns out that we had originally planted the microbox under the left side of that particular bridge after all, on a little side trail just past "Godzilla Junction", which was also, surprisingly enough, still there, just like the trolls themselves! So, back we went a month or so later, braved the poison ivy, and moved the box over to the right side of the bridge, behind a small stone braced so that we hope the little black film container won't roll out! Enjoy the gardens!
