689. WIshing to see the Badgers!

A short stroll through the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison to see these critters for which WI is famous!

Funny how when I was a grad student here in Madison decades and decades ago, I never even knew there was a free zoo in town, and never would have paid attention to badgers anyway, yet now every time we pass through, going to visit the badgers is one of our top priorities! So, we left a little abbreviated state attachment just behind Bucky on the Bench at the Badger Exhibit! Sit with him on the right side of bench and look over your right shoulder to the corner of the fence and a few large landscaping rocks. Between the large lower rock and the two rocks rocks above it is a pinkish quartz stone, and just to the left of it, we left a small sharp triangle-shaped whitish quartz stone pointing into the crack with WI on its flat back!
