729. Flying through Dublin
A quick “pick-up” and “drop-off”between connecting flights through Ireland
As usual, we only had a couple of hours between connecting flights through Baile Atha Cliath to Barcelona, so this is another “quickie”. From terminals 1 or 2 at the Dublin airport, head east along the sidewalk on the north side of the carpark towards McDonald’s - yup, those “golden arches”! When you are four sidewalk blocks west of the overhead traffic sign that is near the second (larger) pine west of McDonald’s, look at the next tree to its right with a 5” dark rock embedded in the ground near its right base. Between the dark rock and the tree, under a smaller stone, in where we left a 2” light gray stone with a white glue spot on it - and a “travelin’ light” eagle on its back. Hope it doesn’t “fly away”!
