730. Cruising through Casablanca
A “quick catch” right off the cruise dock at this busy Morroccan port
Once again we forgot to look for places to plant this “travelin’ light” while we were touring this city with its world’s tallest minaret and world’s second largest mosque, so we had to resort to dropping if off right next to the cruise ship pier as we were leaving. So, probably only folks showing a cruise ship card will have access to this little stamp. From our Norwegian Spirit’s docking spot, we dropped it off near the second orange-topped trash receptacle attached to a pole to the south. As far as we could tell, it was the only one with a three-pronged 3-4” green “cactus” painted on the wall behind it and a cement block in between the pole and the wall. We left a tiny stone with “Casablanca” on back resting peacefully in the southern wall-side hole of the cement block.
