758. UT, alors! - Zut, alors!
Another quick rest area stop along route 40 near Fruitland, UT

We started using this old French expression of exasperation when quite a few of the boxes we were looking for in certain parts of UT seemed to have already gone missing. Somehow it seemed appropriate for the pathetic little stamp on this "travelin' light” stone as well, but hopefully it will last at least a short while! We left it at the northside rest area of route 40 west near mm70. Park near the last car spot past the building before the truck parking begins, and go 17 rectangles up the reddish sidewalk there to the top of a picnic knoll. Then angle left a couple more and look left to the near, bark-less side of the pine just about 3 - 4 steps off the sidewalk. Under the southeast bulge, beneath a light-colored stone and in front of a reddish stone is where we left this 1” tiny flat black tri-cornered hat pebble with UT on back!
