775. Flying to FL
Just another “travelin’ light” abbreviated state stroll while flying through FLL for another cruise

From FLL (Fort Lauderdale Airport), make your way basically NW a couple of miles to the “secret woods” diagonally NW across from the funky “cruise port resort” on Marina Mile Blvd. Enter the gate and continue north through a pretty archway trailhead entrance on the right to the right prong of the Laurel Oak Trail. A short distance down this part of the loop, find the sign for “Exotics” between the 2nd and 3rd (or 3rd and 4th, depending on which side you count from) of a 5-bench semi-circle on the right. Directly behind this sign, sightly buried, is where we left this little gray stone with FL on its backside.
