801. Sewsewbizzy's Pilgrim Turkey serves up Holiday Leftovers in MA (6) - Stroll
Location: Dartmouth, MA
Plant Date: December 26, 2018
Another stamp “inherited” from sewsewbizzy, just being given a new post-turkey season server position in Dartmouth, MA - make sure to bring some colors for the veggies!!
1. Pilgrim Turkey
2. Blue platter
3. Green peas
4. Carrots
5. Beets
6. Cranberry sauce
From the junction of two roads reminiscent of “fish and fowl” in Dartmouth, MA (actually a north woods mammal and a bird famed for its springtime courtship dance), head basically west to a bench overlooking a small dam that can be quite pretty in icicle season. Head north on the red trail on the east side of the stream to another named “doggie” bridge. Then go east on the yellow trail to the first side trail heading left at some holly bushes. Go 18 steps north on this side trail, then diagonally right (25*) 10-12 steps to find the box with logbook near the root end of a rot log behind a small broken-off stump.
If you haven't brought colors (blue, green, orange and beet red) for the veggies left in little camo pouches, just draw in your own placard or something for the turkey to be holding. (Black veggies just won't "cut it"!) Otherwise, feel free to serve these or other add-ons of your choosing:
Blue platter - 5 steps SE, L side of oak
Green peas - 10 steps E, behind large pine
Carrots - 12 steps NE, between pine and oak
Beets - 20 steps N, between two oaks
Cranberry sauce - 15 steps NW, mid stump
