922. Geometric Snowflake - limited time

Part of a mini flurry of snowflakes carved by connecticut croaker and chicktiechick, now sent over to spend a little time in southern RI before the snows really begin to fly! Please pay special attention to replacing as found each of these graciously loaned snowflakes to make sure that we can get them all back safely to CT in time for Christmas!

All we could seem to come up with for geometric patterns out in nature in our area were the remnants of a former fish hatchery located just north of the Simple Pleasures/Hungry Haven complex on the northeast corner of routes 1 and 2. Less than a tenth of a mile from there up route 2 on the right is the entrance to Mill Pond Preserve. Drive in to the kiosk and park, then walk straight ahead with a white building left and a picnic table right to a staircase with railings going down to some "geometric shapes". At the bottom of the stairs, simply take a couple of steps left and turn to look under a stone on the top left side of a wooden retaining beam for another little black pouch!
