960. "Bookends" (2)
We were hoping to plant these two layered stamps carved by spoiled rotten of OH that form an artful "ending" someday at "World's End" in MA, but since we don't know yet when we might next be getting out that way, we figured we might as well plant them somewhere else in the meantime. So, we thought that having them as "bookends" at an impromptu fall gathering at the Groton Library in CT might be an appropriate venue. We planted them in the little back garden in bushes on either side of a weeping cherry tree, but then forgot to tell anyone until "the end" of the gathering where they were!
Well, that was not a very safe spot to leave them anyway, so now we have transferred them temporarily to "bookend" cedars behind the library dumpster. Just note the cedars that are diagonally SE and SW from the east and west back corners of the wood fence behind the dumpster, and look under a stick on the west side of the eastern cedar and under a stone on the east side of the western cedar!
